Who remembers beer bottles with a bottle opener on the bottom?

I was drinking a Miller High Life (The Champagne of Beers) last night and found myself tracing the bottom of the bottle and it made me think about those old bottle with the openers on the bottom.
Do they still make those?

Yup.
The BBO as they used to advertise it as.
Was a cool, but entirely unessesary, idea

What?? When did they make those - and which company? I don't remember that at all.

Miller High Luce introduced the Bottom Bottle Opener in 1987. I don't recall how long it lasted, though.

I was drinking before '87 and don't remember ever seeing one.
But to be fair back then I only drank Beck's Dark, Heineken, St Pauli Girl and other beers of that type of taste.
So maybe I just didn't run across it. Plus I always used a lighter to open my beers back then.

IS THAT WHAT THAT WAS?

I don't remember that, but it's a good way to get customers to drink at least two beers at a time!
