Need information on water cooled CPU

I’ve built my own pcs without issues. But I’ve been looking at water cooled cpu since the space I have for my computer is a little cramped and have reduced air flow. I have 3 fans facing the front 2 on the top. But it still having trouble cooling down after playing, and I was hoping to get some feedback on people who have cpu systems with closed water systems.
how reliable are they for cooling?
Has anyone ever had a ruptured water when installing?
Is the liquid inside the lines dielectric? And if so do I have to buy some or does it come prefilled.
(Opinion based answer) what is the best water cooler.
I have a msi tomahawk B550. My case is a EVGA DG-87. My cpu cooler is a noctua NH-D15 G2 (140mm)

It would be nice to know what CPU you have, your motherboard doesn't really tell us much about your CPU other than it is an AM4 CPU.
But in general, if you want to go with an AIO, I would go with the Arctic Liquidfreezer III Pro, and to mount it with the fans exhausting the hot air out of the top of the computer. The space in your case should decide how big, but if you can fit it, either a 360mm (3x120mm fans) or 420 mm (3x140mm fans). From the quick google search I did it seems like your case can do 420mm radiators, but b sure to check that before you buy an AIO.

All-in-one (AIO) coolers are generally reliable but there are more failure points than a traditional air cooler. They come pre-filled with no way to open them up.
But, the NH-D15 G2 really shouldn't be having any trouble with most modern CPUs. What CPU do you have? What temperatures are you seeing? If your current cooler is insufficient, a water cooler might not help. The better solution is probably to fix whatever is wrong with your setup.

I had a recent addition to my family (baby) so I’ve had to rearrange my bedroom my computer is under my desk. But it has at least 8 inches of clearance from the top and around 36 from the front and rear. I usually see and feel (it gets stupid hot) while I’m playing battlefield or baldurs gate. I’ve recorded temps of it hitting 90 degrees, and that’s if I open the side panel to help cool it down. If I don’t my computer shuts down from the heat. (It’s only happened once I didn’t want to risk it again).
I’ve replaced my thermal paste (way past due) it helped but the temps still didn’t budge as much as I thought it would. I’ve been also thinking of cutting a piece of the side panel out and put plexiglass with holes on the side of it to help with this.
I don’t know if it’s a case issue where the case is TOO big and the fans aren’t helping it push/ pull the air out.
