Cause of vibrating while stopped in drive?

I have a 2015 Nissan Rogue Select that I purchased 1.5 years ago. The entire time I've had it, it will randomly have strong waves of vibration while I'm fully stopped in drive and L (like at a stop light) but it stops when I switch to neutral or park. It doesn't always happen so I don't know how an auto shop could replicate it to diagnose the issue. The CVT was replaced before I bought it (about 35k miles ago) but the vibration seems to originate from the engine. I also had my car checked out for any issues before I move out of state with it and no issues were found. Has anyone encountered this issue before and should I be worried?

Motor mounts gone bad.

Have you serviced the cvt?
Could be a sticky roller or slider for the chain from debris causing the shudder your feeling.
In traditional autos. They can have torque converter shudder from stuff building up inside or the clutch pack not fully disengaging.
My ex-wifes 2009 Charger would hit hard on the 2-3 or 3-4 shift from the solenoids sticking. I would change the fluid, and all was well again.
