I fit in my dress from my senior prom

I’m as surprised as you. I’ve recently lost some weight and husband and I have a fancy trip coming up this fall. On a whim I pulled it out and lo and behold it fit and looked good.

I literally haven’t worn it in 25 years (2001). I have feelings and I don’t know what they are exactly. Amusement, awe, a little excited, nostalgia.

If I could fit into my senior prom dress, there would be some flabby skin and stretch marks making it look different now, lol. I’ve lost weight recently too but I’m not getting back down to a size 2. I was tiny in high school. Kinda need my ass now. Hurts to sit otherwise.

I'll never fit in my high school stuff I weighed 128 pounds. Scrawny skater kid. The lowest I got from running was 145. And my mom said I looked malnourished

I'm not thrilled because most of the time in the middle I was 2-3 sizes smaller lmao! Coincidentally I was on birth control last time I was this weight and now I'm on HRT for peri 😂

Nice! That has to be a great feeling! It's nice if you like the style and can use it again, too! Wish I had something reusable like that.

I think mine would also fit (breastfeeding weight loss ftw!), but I don't think I'd ever wear my senior prom dress again - I had one of those floofy light blue ones with lots of bead designs at the bust and some on the long skirt. A little Cinderella for me these days! Funny how some styles come back and others are like, ugh, what was I thinking....

I was literally anorexic during my senior year of highschool, so I wouldn't be able to without being massively unhealthy at my age, even if I'd gone to prom (which I didn't).

I fit better in my express jean jacket now than I did in 2001 which is shocking to me. I was wearing it in my senior year picture because I was that cool 🤦🏻‍♀️
