Second hand, which one?

Hi,

Due to bad transports and the need to get healthier I want an ebike that will be mostly used as a normal bike, and sometimes I will use pedal assist.

I can get one of the two both same price second hand. The Himiway D3 or the Rockrider e-st 500. I will mostly ride to and from work on road during the week, on the weekends I want to go to a forest or mountain type of terrain and spend time in nature.

Which of them would be better for me? Because of tight budget I need to go second hand.

I had the rockrider 140 and took it back. Be careful of gearing ratios. Mountain bikes ain't great if you have strong legs and are capable of peddling at 30mph. You'll run out of gears peddling on flats or downhill. If you just wanna plod along at 15mph then any ebike will do the job

I have strong legs for heavy squats and weightlifting, not really for biking. Even to work the amount of time I will take is really small compared to taking public transports so I will be chilling. I doubt I will want to peddle hard on the road.

Yeah do not get a emtb if you don’t plan to primarily ride on single track. I wouldn’t ever take mine on the road. I got a e-bike for when I ride with my wife
