Well, where i'm from, comrade is a term used exclusively by soviet communist. Think about that, and add it to the ww2 context. Is it more clear whatthefuck im on about or are you still completely lost?

I get it's 4chan and a meme but in reality, the majority of Czechs were so opposed to being conscripted into the Nazi forces, they frequently deserted, surrendered to the allies (and usually demanded not to be PoW but actually join the fight against the axis, defected to partisan forces etc. The Germans even knew about this and had to spread them out around different groups to stop them organising mutinies. These 2 could well have been deliberately not shooting at the soldiers
