Gotta make new words, so the older people can shake their fist at them and claim they were never like that when they were young, and the younger people can pretend they're special and this is the first time counter culture is a thing
The thing is, this isn't actually true on basically any modern social media platform. The AI flagging is smart enough nowadays to not get triggered by singular keywords and instead by the general context of what is being said/video is about, this has been true for many years now.
That's true to an extent, using these replacements means while the algorithm kind of knows you still do not trigger the "no no" words which would tank your views
No, you can say words like rape on TikTok with little to no effect on your impressions. Rape vs grape does not make a difference. If you describe graphic depictions of rape, that makes a difference. If you use harsh descriptors, such as the rape being brutal, that makes a difference. Matter-of-fact true stories or scientific finding regarding sex crimes such as rape will be limited not on whether rape or grape is said, but they will be limited based on how graphic the context surrounding it is.
I am not saying Tik Tok. It makes a difference on Instagram and Facebook. I don't use tik tok. I have had posts with heavily decreased reach due to using some of the NoNo words
The result of censorship, if people aren't allowed to express a point in normal language they will invent words that represent the banned word. Don't blame gen z, blame the dickheads censoring everything. These corps have to stop fucking with free speech.
I find it really disturbing how many people of my generation unironically use terms like "unalive" and "grape" when talking about such horrific things. I don't care if it's because of "censorship." If you can't speak about something in the appropriate manner, then don't say anything. People will do anything to go viral...

It's incredibly annoying when people talk like this. Unfortunately these kids were basically raised by the Internet so it's what they think is normal and how they talk.

Not wanting to say those words is fine, but all those words have much better alternatives too.
Porn > Adult films, smut, erotics.
Kill, death > Perish, Pass away, life lost
Sex > intercourse, adult activities, love making
Etc..

And if there was such an AI that would get triggered by certain words, it would very quickly catch up on what "corn" or "seggs" actually mean...

Its so fucking annoying, but it becomes downright dystopian when people are talking about tragedies or serious shit and use those terms.
I don't like when youtubers do it but atleast they have an actual proper reason to.
HeskeyThe2nd@reddit
Yeah, how can you - without shame - talk about a human being "unaliving" themself. Or someone being "graped."
If TikTok are censoring you then there are plenty of others ways to say it. Or post somewhere. Why do people keep normalising this shit?
