Angled grips on pistols

I know this question has been asked a million times, and I know about the 90 degree rule for vertical grips. But where’s the line when it comes to angled grips? I mean, truly, people say yes to hand stops and to grips the style of the one on the right, but what about the left style? People say yay and nay, I’ve seen, but I’m not gonna risk my fur children’s lives over a grip. The thing pictured is a glorified Glock chassis that I want to put it on.

What you're asking for is for the ATF to give consistent, understandable guidance, so your question is fundamentally flawed.

The ATF can't give guidance unless there's a law. There is NO law defining angles and foregrips.

There is a law, it's the NFA. They're determining whether a foregrip violates the definition of "pistol" and makes a gun an "AOW".
They're bad at making those determinations and the NFA shouldn't exist in the first place, but there is "a law".

There is NO 90° rule. NONE.
Everyone is basing their OPINIONS on ONE letter from the ATF that was SPECIFIC to that gun and that person.

89° is angled. So is 91°.
Don’t get caught committing crimes with it and you’re fine.

The last guidance from the atf im 2013 was of it wasn't 90 degrees to bore it was an angled grip.
But the atf do what they want so who knows.
But yeah thats the guidance.

The “90 degree rule” is an old wives tale.
If you grab it it’s an VFG
If it helps you grab the barrel it’s an AFG
