Just passed 100km on my new aventon Level 4!

I just got it on Tuesday and it has been great so far. Ive been doing rides just for fun and today was my biggest one at 54km.
My biggest pros so far are that it destroys hills no problem and it feels really nice and smooth with the torque control. Also you can really feel the power when you press the throttle from a full stop on Boost mode.
My biggest con is definitely the weight. Walking it while the bike is off is tough and it would be super hard to ride it at all without the motor (tried a small hill with the engine off and couldn't do it on the lowest gear since the bike is so heavy). However, I know the bike is made to be ridden with the engine on, I just wanted to see how it would go.

Very nice and great bike! How is start pedaling with Torque sensor,is it hard? I have bike with cadence sensor,so I don't know how is this...š

It is very smooth and effortless to start up with the torque sensor. It is also very energy efficient.

Nice ride! My Level 4 is supposed to arrive in 3 weeks. I got the black step over as well. Enjoy the ride. š

Nice! If I keep up this rate I could potentially be there by end of season.

Congrats, very happy for you. Quick question, how does it feel uphill with motor? Like will weight impact that especially for a woman?
Jim_Jam_Jul@reddit (OP)
Thanks! Uphill with a motor feels pretty effortless honestly. The weight doesn't impact on the uphill at all unless the motor is turned off in which case it's not really doable (I felt like the chain might snap if I pushed too hard). The only time the weight is a big factor is when I'm moving it around from the street to the shed or into the house with the motor off but you can also activate the "walk" mode which I haven't messed around with much. It would probably be a 2 person job to get it up on a car's rear bike rack though.

Nice! I was originally going to get the level 3 but the bike shop I was buying from was out of stock of the step over in mate black so I ended up getting the level 4 instead.

the random photo of another bike makes this weird.

It's my girlfriends bike. I got my ebike so I can keep up with her road bike speed since she trains for competitions and rides a lot.
