I think the dollar collapse, Google dying, and the way we all scroll without noticing are the same loop. And the government is building the infrastructure for it.

The irony of where it's posted...
Less-Passenger8007@reddit (OP)
Yeah, I used AI to help me write it. I am not eloquent. I struggle to get my thoughts into clean sentences. So I typed out my messy hours of research and synthesis, then had the AI help me structure it. The ideas, the connections, the months of piecing things together, the fingerprints I found - that is mine. The polished words are not.
I get why that makes people suspicious. Half the internet is bots now. You cannot trust anything. But I am not a bot. I am just someone who cannot write well and wanted to get this out before I lost the thread.
If you want to dismiss the whole post because I used a tool to help me sound less like a mess, fair enough. But the argument stands or falls on the evidence, not on my literary skill. The monetary transition evidence is real. The government surveillance contracts are real. The model collapse and zero click data are real. The psychological loop of silent rewriting is something I observed in myself first.
If you have a counter argument to the substance, I would genuinely love to hear it. That is why I posted. Not for upvotes. To be tested.

So what? The point of writing isn't eloquence, it's sharing your ideas in a way that's authentically you. You are much more eloquent than AI slop, have some confidence for the love of god.
Milkbagistani@reddit
So you used AI to draft a diatribe about how you have no agency and algorithms are controlling your life?
You choose to pick up your phone and scroll.
You choose to use Google.
You choose to be on social media.
You chose to use an LLM to write this for you.
The government and the monetary system is not to blame for your bad choices.
Less-Passenger8007@reddit (OP)
Id be happy to provide sourcing on anything you want to dispute
Less-Passenger8007@reddit (OP)
Yeah you got me, I did pick up my phone. I do choose to scroll. I use google. I used an LLM to help write because I suck at putting my thoughts into words. Those are my choices.
But heres the thing your missing. Choice doesnt happen in a vacuum. If im standing in a room and you pump in a gas that makes me feel angry, and then I choose to punch a wall, yeah I made the choice. But you still rigged the room.
Google hides the open web behind zero click results. The feed figures out what makes me pause and then serves me more of it. I still "choose" to click. But what i am choosing between has already been filtered by something that knows my weak spots better than I do. That's not conspiracy. That's just how the optimization works.
You say I should blame myself not the government or the monetary system. I dont blame them. Im just saying the structure exists. You can swim against it. But pretending the current isnt there isnt strength. Its just not paying attention.
And honestly? If you think your choices are totally your own, unaffected by inflation eating your paycheck or algorithms shaping what you see or a war that makes no sense keeping gas prices high, then the loop is working perfectly on you. You dont have to believe in it for it to run.
Thats the part your missing.

Ironically written by AI. This is the worst sort of amplifier of our malaise.

And yes, I got the Reddit ownership thing wrong in my first reply to someone. Reddit is not owned by China. I corrected that. My bad.

No worries man. some people want to undermine your points just because of a rewrite is ridiculous. I am sure you are just trying your best to convey your ideas. It’s fine, but the point is to bring awareness to the issue, even if it’s slightly ironic, at least it’s self aware.
Less-Passenger8007@reddit (OP)
Im aware of the irony. I didnt attempt to hide anything. Yes my approach in some peoples eyes is misguided and i acknowledge and agree with that. I will come back after I have spent 4 hours typing everything out.
hippydipster@reddit
The ideas are terrible too, and uses that sweet AI rhetoric to make your conspiracy theories seem intelligent, when it just comes off as a sort Russian style muddying the waters propaganda and spreading of depression and malaise. Its vague and doesn't say anything meaningful in the end and just gives a sense of "the world is out to get us".
Less-Passenger8007@reddit (OP)
Give me a specific part of the arguement you want citations to and id be happy to provide them. Your critique is exactly the same shape as what you are supposedly critiquing.

The absolute unapologetic irony of it all.
Sasquatch97@reddit
You have some good insights here. But speaking as someone outside of the US (Canada), the dollar collapse is much bigger than China vs. USA; this time it will be the whole global economy that will be inflated and subsequently crashed.
Struckmanr@reddit
I have no perfect evidence to produce here however I believe algorithmic usage being at peak levels in us especially at a young age destroys our attention span, thinking ability (cause the algorithm is finding content FOR YOU and you are making less actual decisions. It’s designed to reel that layer back quietly and control you, when you scroll you are literally being controlled. That’s the root of most of the business going on here.
RedisaPsyop5647@reddit
The people in power don't want us to think, only consume.
I personally see sector's or groups of people who go back to a nomad type lifestyle, or at least go back to only using old tech. I personally have started reverting back to old tech that doesn't need to be connected online
Less-Passenger8007@reddit (OP)
One more thing I should have made clearer. The online gender war you see everywhere, men blaming women and women blaming men, is not separate from what I described. It is the human face of the loop. Economic precarity from the monetary loop gets captured by algorithms in the information loop that optimize for outrage. That outrage rewrites how people see each other in the psychological loop. The result is a population too busy fighting itself to notice that the dollar is being devalued and their data is being harvested. The gender war is fuel for the fire, not the cause of it.

It's worse than that - at least a conspiracy implies conspirators in control.
The horrible reality is that no one is in control. Some sociopaths float to the top and ride the wave under the illusion that they're steering it for a time, but we are just a complex machine helplessly torturing itself.

The following submission statement was provided by /u/Less-Passenger8007:
This post synthesizes three interconnected collapse dynamics: the ongoing devaluation of the dollar via a new Plaza Accord and gold revaluation (monetary collapse), the dead internet and AI model collapse (informational collapse), and the silent algorithmic rewriting of attention and emotional responses (psychological collapse). The argument is that these are not separate crises but a single self-reinforcing loop, with government surveillance infrastructure (Palantir, DHS AI, data sharing) accelerating fragmentation to clear resistance to the monetary transition. This matters because it shows how collapse operates person by person, below conscious awareness.

It's ALL interconnected. The billionaires own the means of production. They own the government. They own the media. They own most of the real estate, and they own most of the courts, especially SCOTUS. Most of this is applicable globally, but not all.
Regardless, if you are paying attention to what is happening outside the US, it's ALL falling apart. The oligarchs are making their move, using moronic right-wing kewlade guzzlers to forward their agenda.
We're on a soon to-be-ending roller coaster ride off a cliff of epic proportions. When the ride stops, it's not going to be pretty.
