Aventon squeaky bricks

I just bought an Aventon abound LR and it has squeaky brakes. The brakes have been squeaky since I got it has anyone else had this issue? Is this normal or should I take it to the bike shop to get fixed? I have about 100 miles on it so far and live around a lot of hills, so I’m wondering how long the brake pads will last?

their doing that b/c the brake pads are making contact with the brake rotor at an angle instead of flat against the rotor. Shop should able to remedy it pretty easily..

Go get them fixed, there is no excuse for a brand new bike to have loud brakes, it they can’t fix them, sand the pads on a flat surface with 320 grit sand paper to remove any contaminants and then re-install them
