Hey everyone,
I built my first pc in 2020 without any knowledge. I only knew that I need graphics card to play games and I went to a store and told him that I need a pc for gaming and they built a pc for me. These are the specs:-
CPU- AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (6 cores/12 threads)
Motherboard- Gigabyte B450M H
RAM- 8GB DDR4
GPU- NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650
I enjoyed for 2 3 years but then my pc got slow and started freezing. When I tap on something it responds after few seconds, it takes more time to start, when I watch videos on YT video gets stucked but I hear sounds for few secs then it get stucked but sometimes it works perfectly.
I still don't know about PC but I like to play games and I want to upgrade or may be build a new one. I don't know what's the problem but I think it's RAM.
Please suggest me what should I do. Should I upgrade? If yes, then what should I upgrade or should I build a new one?
Budget- Mid

1000$ is "mid" in todays market...

Problem 1. 8GB just isn't enough in 2026.
Do you have a mechanical hard drive or a solid-state drive?

I have both. Windows and important things are installed in ssd and some games or other files are in hard drive. I am planning to upgrade ssd storage.
