I dunno man, that's a lot. 20mm -- 3/4 inch. You could fill that gap with spacers. But is the axle long enough? I would get something that actually fits. If you're building out a bike you're going to run into a lot of surprise fitment problems once the parts arrive. In this case, you're being given an opportunity to avoid a problem before you even order the parts.
