Crank covers?

Hi everyone. The waterproof trousers I wear while cycling I have a clip on them that stops them riding up over my shoes, trouble is that clip is rubbing the arm on my bike. Last few months iv been touching it up but obviously it ends up back to square one. Is there such thing as a crank/pedal arm cover? If not, any suggestions to what I could cover it with. The warmer months are great as I don't wear those clips but in winter the same thing will just keep happening.

I would use silicon tape, the type that sticks to itself. Do a tight wrap around the crank. The clip will tear it up eventually, but just replace it. Heat shrink tubing would be tougher. It would require that you remove the pedal.

Ah OK I get you. The stuff that goes on radiator pipes should they leak?

Not sure about that, not a lot of radiators where I live. It's this stuff. https://a.co/d/00kRrCP7
There are a lot of different brands. Should be widely available.

What a nice problem to have 😂. I live in Wales so have them in every room! Brilliant thank you 🤙

Are you referring to the old metal trouser clips? If so, switch to fabric w/ velcro trouser strap.

Any idea if there's a cover for these arms?

Are you referring to the scuffs on the crank? Maybe you could get some adhesive backed rubber sheets and cut it to size and stick it on there

Yes those marks. That's something iv thought of but maybe they would need replacing after a couple of months. I was wondering if there's like a velcro backed cover that just wraps around. Thanks for the suggestion though that's possibly something il have to do

No the bottom of those trousers are cuffed and they ride up over my trousers and let rainwater in my shoes. I have like a fabric band with clips on either side that go under the shoe and clip onto the trousers to stop them rising up
