hi everyone, i am looking to build a pc with a 9800x3d and a 9070xt worth 2000 but is it actually worth to spend so much money on a pc because my potato laptop that runs schedule 1 with 20 fps
my use cases are mainly gaming and games like schedule 1, beamng ( i dont play that game but i played games like that on my old ps4 and i love them ).
should i start with a cheaper pc around 1200?

you will be amazed, and unless you have AAA games on your view you will be blowing past your monitor with that kinda power. 9060 xts would be amazing for 1440p games other than stuff like black myth wukong and cyberpunk, and 9800x3ds are meant for top of the top builds. in all reality you could scale it down and still be blown out of the water.

No.

I also just ordered my parts, and it ended up above 2000 euros. It does seem much more expensive in Europe than what I see on reddit and youtube. I think many of the American prices you see is pre tax, while that is usually included into the European prices.

they are, for example people will reference a 5070ti at $959 or $999, which doesn’t include whatever sales tax is getting slapped on which is usually around 7%. So it’s really a $1,026, or $1,068ish dollar GPU.
Not a huge difference on its own, but it adds up quick

Also, where I live the VAT is 25%…

If you can afford it, absolutely!

No it's not. There is a $1400 PC with 9070 xt + 7500x3d on Toprigz, check it out. The 7500x3d already beats 13800k and is more than enough for gaming. The CPU also does not matter much at Ultra 1440p+

Not everyone lives in America
