I dated a 6’0 woman and I loved it, she was my first and we were together for years
Same height as me, and taller if she wore heels. Never bothered me; quite the opposite in fact
I think there’s just something about the presence of a tall woman that I enjoy, I always have. Even before I dated I always had crushes on tall girls. High school crush who I went to dances with was also about my height
Why do you say that 6’0 is too tall? I know it’s probably hard to find clothes that fit well off the rack, but is it just things like that or is it more like feeling too tall for society’s standards or something?
I was gonna say you and I could nearly share shoes at that size but then I remembered womens’ sizes are… what, 2 sizes down from mens’?
I guess I’m not familiar with womens’ shoe sizes but I’m surprised that you have a hard time, that doesn’t seem like a terribly large shoe size for a woman at all. I’m sure that is annoying tho, to feel so limited by something like that
This comment is both mean and kinda silly, since being 5’7 for a woman is like the perfect height. But being 5’3 for a man is an entirely different experience.
r/shortguys is the worst, r/short is marginally better, it's not as filled with incels and doesn't exclude women.
It still has a lot of young guys upset about their height, I used to try to help, I'm 5'4" and doing pretty good overall, the future isn't really that bleak for short men, a few of them just complain really loudly lol.
I'm 6'1 (6'2" w/shoes). One time I got into an elevator and then two dudes who were like 6'6" and 6'9" got in. I thought to myself, "this is what it probably feels like to be short. I would totally blow my brains out if I was."
There are probably so many guys who wish they could be your height to be a cute lil femboy
But seriously, even if you are straight, once people are adults it doesn't seem to matter much. I've seen so many married couples where the guy is short.
I mean, it definitely still matters. But it probably doesn’t matter as much as men tend to think. That being said, the guys who are really short (like 5’3) have it rough. I do feel quite bad for those men. I interact with the public a lot though and I’ve seen many couples that were both very short like that, so it’s not impossible. You just have to learnt to be charming and outgoing tbh. It’s a skill like anything else. But the guys that are 5’7 are usually in their own heads. That’s the average height for women, and most women are willing to date someone that’s just as tall as them.
I'm not saying it isn't a factor. I happened to be tall so I almost never think about height. Almost everyone I've known or seen is shorter than me, except for this one time I was at a hotel for my aunt's wedding and it just so happened a basketball team was there. So like 10-20 guys taller than me walked by, I was close to some of them but it did feel weird looking up to see their faces. Even looking up one or two inches feels weird, and it makes me wonder what people think when they see me.
But of all the couples I've seen older than me, most of the guys are under 6'. I feel like people my age got taller in general, but maybe that's just who I know.
I work in public too, and I see people of all heights in couples. One of my favorite woman coworkers had an especially short husband. He's a really cool guy. Does animal rescue for his work. And I saw lots of couples who look the same.
I can't understand it fully, because it isn't my experience. I can say that I've seen it work out lots of times, so I hope nobody gives up based on that. It is probably harder, but it's way off from impossible.

women’s shoes are 2 sizes UP from mens. a US woman’s size 11 is equal to a man’s size 9ish.
TokesNHoots@reddit
I’m a size 8 in men’s yeah. For sneakers it’s easy to get them but heels or nice flats are difficult for me to get in my size.
