New seats in the 93

Got rid of the old piss stained seats in the exploder and replaced them with some cheap Amazon seats that are honestly pretty comfortable, and kinda go with the overall theme.

I average around 15-16 mpg. Would probably be better without the 32’s on..

As an extreme Ford fan, I love seeing this Explorer pop up in my feed. I restore as a hobby and have 7 various Fords. I used to own back in the late 90s an Eddie Bauer of this style. I am big on classy unique. And this is classy unique. I want everyone to know when they pass me its me and not "that looks kinda like Joe's truck". I know tacky when I see it and this is not tacky. The orange and green is unique and flows perfectly together. I wouldn't change a thing, just keep adding to it like you did with the seats. From someone who restores and upgrades constantly this is one badass Explorer. Everyone has different taste but this is YOURs and what you like is what matters and brother if that truck went up for sale Id be all over it.

Hey thanks man I really appreciate that. I’ve had a lot of fun on this project, glad someone else enjoys it as well! This is actually my second 90’s style ford I’ve done I have a 91 Bronco (Eddie Bauer) I did a few years back. Just going to keep adding to my collection, as it’s something I truly enjoy doing, cheers!

These and the 2nd gens were everywhere in New England in the 90s and 00s.
Now they are a very rare breed. Just drove by a second yesterday and was dumbstruck, honestly can't think of the last time I saw one before that.
Road salt took its toll.

Yeah, luckily im on the west coast, so there is some of these still around. I picked this one up for 300 bucks with a blown head gasket, but it had a straight body and just some surface rust on the frame, but the manual transmission and transfer case pushed me over the edge and I grabbed it up.

dude that is sick. so no hate at all. its the nicest explorer ive ever seen i think. but… i think the orange windshield wiper on the back overdose it with the orange theme. or maybe it just stands out.? but those seats compliment the theme perfectly. i dunno, my bad, but thats the only thing id change. very cool ride. i would be curious about your long term opinion on the comfort of the seats, because those really look nice in there

Thanks! Nope all stock for now, I have a 4 inch lift to put on, but I also need to work on all the driveline/steering components, tie rods, u joints, ball joints, wheel bearings, bushings etc.
