I miss Briscoe County Jr

I loved it when it came out and always wondered why it only lasted one season when it was so cultishly popular. I read Bruce Campbell's book and in it, he said it was because they had the bad fortune of being slotted in the exact timeslot as the first season of The X-Files, on another network.
What other shows do you guys wish there'd been more of?
I remember liking Northern Exposure too.

Space: Above and Beyond
That show was the absolute bomb even with all the wooden acting. The story was neat and they did a lot ramping of intensity building to a cliffhanger that never got resolved.

Brisco had one of the craziest twists. Great cast, great show. There's a reunion zoom call from 2020 if you're interested.

And it was on a Friday night. This show was incredible and got me into Campbell and Raimi as an adult. I actually just got the Army of Darkness tabletop game and it was so fun!

It is more recent, but I really wish Carnivale (2003-2005) had gotten it's planned 6 season arc, instead of just two seasons

Not as far back as that but I miss the Characters Welcome era of the USA network. Psych, Monk, Burn Notice... I miss fun hour-longs.
Now there's Elsbeth and also Good Cop Bad Cop on Netflix (terrible title for what it is but the show is fun) but not too many others. All the streamers seem to be chasing edgy stuff and network just feels even more bland than usual, like they're assuming all watchers of hour-long live tv are super old (and they might be right).

Jack of All Trades/Cleopatra 2525 was also good.
