Egg fu yung would have been better
Drestanor@reddit
that broccoli looks like it gave up first
CocoMic@reddit
I love omurice, but not with egg whites.
SnausageFest@reddit (OP)
This isn't emurice.
CocoMic@reddit
It’s practically omurice.
SnausageFest@reddit (OP)
Ketchup is a a key ingredient, and sweet rice and eggs is gross. It's not omurice just because it shares some ingredients.
CocoMic@reddit
lol. No it’s not. There are many variations of omurice, many of which use plain fried rice.
You’re basically saying a hamburger is only a hamburger if it has ketchup and pickles but if it has mayo, lettuce and tomatoes it’s magically no longer a burger. It’s an omelet full of rice. It’s proto-omurice.

Omurice is a known Japanese dish, so you're not alone here. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Omurice.
AfroThunder_Dj@reddit
This that egg whites? No yolk?
SnausageFest@reddit (OP)
Yeah I usually do egg whites for the protein.
TacoManifesto@reddit
Absolutely despise the idea of broccoli and green beans with my eggs
Bubbly_Cry7146@reddit
This is violently farty
CutBeginning8338@reddit
I feel like that would slap with some kind of sauce
SnausageFest@reddit (OP)
There's soy sauce and a bunch of hot sauce in the rice. It totally slaps.
KyddCotten@reddit
Why does your vegebles look lile a giant grasshopper looking at me?
nympho4lyf@reddit
ngl I think this would taste good lol
stopchooingsoloud@reddit
Omu rice is a thing but with ketchup and sometimes minced meat and veggies.
ssongshu@reddit
This is basically just egg fried rice but with more steps
SnausageFest@reddit (OP)
Is it? Scrambling eggs is more work than dumping eggs into a pan and folding it after you add the filling.
