I was out in the country, flying down a long steep downhill, when I startled a deer grazing in the ditch.
It took off down the hill, running in the ditch alongside me, eye to eye.

I was so fascinated, looking into those "doe" eyes, that it took me a while to realize that being that
close to a unpredictable wild animal, galloping alongside, was not a good idea:)
