That would be good shooting with a centerfire pistol and irons.
A .22 with a dot, you can do better

Taurus TX22 or TX22 Compact is the move. P17 is on the short list too.
The Taurus will eat anything you feed it, and it’s the goated handgun FRT platform, if you’re into that.

The gun posted is a P17

Love my P 17 , best $200 pistol I’ve ever seen

Taurus tx-22 is an awesome and affordable pistol.

Get it fast they’re slowly going up in price

Thats a good group for a standing position. Lots of holes touching. A few outliers. You’ll tighten up as you progress.
I may be wrong, but it looks to me like you fired a magazine then reloaded twice and created 3 distinct and separate groups by not having the same stance, hold or sight alignment/picture with each magazine.

Nope

At 7yds i rarely notice anything different in group size with a pistol. There just isn’t a lot of time for inconsistency in ammo to really affect things too much.
If accuracy is your goal I find that no one designs a semi-auto 22 quite as well as Ruger. The trick is to have someone else build it, in this case Volquartsen.

For practical application, absolutely.

ruger mark iv is the common answer
for funsies, the beretta 92fs in .22 add a threaded barrel and suppressor...

My P17 does better. Try different ammo?

I was standing when i shot this. I should try some better quality ammo. The 22lr bulk that i have is pretty gnarly

CCI standard velocity and their pistol target match line are great in my experience. Don't know if you'll cycle with the red dot though, without a suppressor.
