I want a CB radio!

I’ve been OTR for about 7 months and initially I didn’t think I would be that trucker. However I have since changed my mind and I definitely want to be that trucker. So I really want a good CB but I don’t know anything about getting one. Please let me know the kind and the best antenna to go with it. I’ve decided if I’m gonna keep my seat I might as well make it enjoyable. I’m not looking for best price I’m looking for quality and longevity. Ty in advance

You can use your points at a truckstop and basically get one for free. Just use the antenna. You already have later on. You can get an amplifier if you need it.

Other then telling you about accidents ahead, almost every trucker just leaves it off. Only people on it all the time are usually old people sitting at home clogging it up.
