I've wanted to do this for years, so I finally spent a few days recreating a handful of shots from The Big Lebowski.

Tried to match the lighting, camera angles, costumes and poses as closely as possible. Everything was done practically in camera with no AI or photo manipulation. I've added some side by side comparisons for the reference screenshots I used.

The rug is real. The cardigan is real and already lived in my wardrobe. Same for the pyjama bottoms and shirt because they're genuinely comfortable. The Walkman is EVA foam with printed sticker paper. The jelly sandals, however, remain deeply unconvincing as footwear.

For authenticity, several full strength White Russians were also sacrificed during the making of this photoshoot.
