I have to say, I really like mine. I think most issues people have with SS are due to not following their break in advice.

If you get one, go buy a couple hundred rounds of 124 NATO, and run that through the gun at the range. I had 1 FTE malfunction in each of the first two mags. After that, I had zero issues at all. After breaking it in, I ran some random 115, and it ate it without any hiccups at all. It’s been as flawless as anything else I own, and it’s my carry gun now.

My only complaint is the trigger could be better considering the price, but it’s still better than a stock Glock trigger, and it takes any aftermarket slimline Glock trigger if it bugs you enough.

They used to come up here pretty regularly at that price. Best price I saw on an OR model was maybe $1200? But if you can pick up a non-OR one for cheap, send it off to JagerWerks (or wherever) and get it milled...then you don't even need a plate.

You really won't regret it...it's by far my favorite pistol. It's basically cheating with a red dot on there it's so easy to shoot.

The comp'd CRs are hit or miss and comp failures are a fairly common warranty replacement item. You may want a lighter RSA for best function with some ammo. The trigger is usually not as good as one would expect for the price; often gritty and fairly heavy.

I know its just a Gen 3 Glock with some aftermarket parts. But the addition of the aftermarket parts pretty much equals the posted value so its still a deal for someone who might be interested in a well setup carry pistol out of the box.

If you’re on the fence, don’t be, this is a great carry gun. I’ve got close to 1500rds through mine and my only complaint is the trigger is arguably the heaviest stock trigger I’ve ever experienced. Threw a tactical pontoon in and I’ve been nothing but happy…and no the comp doesn’t make it shoot soft/flat like some reviews have said, it’s still a small pistol in 9mm.

High note, the optic mounting system has been a one and done install. Every plate system I’ve used has needed reinstall or tightening at around 6-800 rds.

This is a VERY good deal. I watched the price of this handgun for close to a year before I bought it- and off the top of my head, the lowest it ever was, was in the $720s, and it was from being offered at sites that included tax.

If you’re in the market for a compensated EDC, this is a very good option.
