Has anyone else had a terrible experience with Club 4 Fitness?

I’ve been trying to cancel my membership since December. Instead of canceling it, they convinced me to freeze the account temporarily. After 3 months, they unfroze it without even notifying me and started charging multiple extra fees.
Now every attempt to cancel has been unnecessarily difficult, and customer service has been completely unhelpful throughout the whole process. Honestly one of the most frustrating gym experiences I’ve had.

I use Club4 and haven’t had any issues so far. I did have a similar experience with EoS though. Took us months to get them to cancel our memberships. Had to call multiple times and go in person twice.

Never heard of it. I've had a few bad gym experiences and just do cash up front for the membership

I’ve started going to the rec center. It’s a pretty decent gym for about $15 a month.

If they use ABC Fitness for their billing, they purposely make it difficult to cancel. You have to harass them (the billing company). What finally worked for me was calling three times a day in a 20 minute window, and setting an email to send every 20 minutes. It still took over a week for them to give up.
