Keep seeing this clip of a plane and a paraglider, is this actually real or AI?

Scrolled past the first time, figured staged or a comp video
Its been on my feed nonstop since and i genuinely cant tell anymore, anyone seen any actual reporting on this, or is it just AI / edited stuff making the rounds
The thing im stuck on, even if it is real, the para pilot obviously isnt monitoring comms but if youre flying VFR through a valley with known paraglider activity you just dont go cruising at that altitude right, or am i missing something about how mountain VFR works around these sites
Genuinely curious because its in my head now and i havent seen anyone here mention it

Real, happened in Austria.

Ah, g'day mate! Let's put another shrimp on the barbie!

It is real and there are also pictures of the plane back on ground, with parts of the chute still stuck.Â
The investigation is ongoing. The gist of it is that it's complicated. Poor visibility, conflicting traffic, potentially some bad choices.Â
Conflicts between paras and planes are common so a bunch of people are awaiting the results and recommendations with interest.

âPoor visibilityâ - itâs pretty clear day
Megaflarp@reddit
Poor visibility refers in this case to:
1) the poor angle between the cessna's pilot and the paraglider (as pointed out by other pilot) 2) the sun shining potentially right into the cockpit 3) the paraglider not being looked at from below or above where the brightly colored sail would be exposed, but from a side profile, where it is potentially extremely thinkÂ
secretformula@reddit
That's when most midair collisons happen. They meant poor visible inside the cockpit due to the instrument panel preventing you from seeing whats directly infront / below the aircraft.
Adamas_Moustache86@reddit
The poor visibility in this case has nothing to do with weather but rather aircraft design.
Malcolm2theRescue@reddit
Juan Browne covered this on his Blancolirio channel therefore it is REAL. He never lies!

It's real, it happened near LOWZ.
EuroGA has quite a long thread about it, and the possible legal ramifications, and things like electronic conspicuity: https://www.euroga.org/forums/crash-talk/17066-cessna-paraglider-collision-near-lowz?page=1

Real and terrifyingly displaying the hard limits of "see and avoid"
shrunkenhead041@reddit
At 120+ mph, the aircraft pilot had very little time to see an essentially stationary target below their nose. It is much harder to spot something that is barely moving relative to the ground.
The paraglider was facing away from the plane and heard it before they saw it and didn't have time to react.
Why the plane was at the location/altitude is TBD, but there could readily be reasonable explanations.
Just unfortunate circumstances all around, fortunately with the best outcome possible.

This is why I get slightly anxious every time I fly in the alps with good weather.
Actual_Environment_7@reddit
What comms would the paraglider pilot be presumed to be monitoring that she wasnât? Unless youâre operating on Denali, there really arenât established VFR radio calls you make when flying through the mountains.
specialsymbol@reddit
It's so AI that everyone is discussing it. I let AI participate for me in those discussions.

Its real.
...at what altitude? No, you generally dont want to fly at the same altitude as a paraglider but there's no set altitude they fly so im not sure how you're going to avoid it.
