Personally, there's a few of us friends who followed the pop scene in general, so for us - it was all 3.

For us born in 1990 and around that year, during late 90s / early 2000s, Britney was high in popularity. But then she started dropping, and especially around her crazy stage (2006?), thats when MJ won for the rest of times.
