What’s the most depressing “adult realisation” you’ve had recently?

I’ll go first. Realising that after work, cooking, cleaning, laundry, replying to people, sorting life stuff out etc… you basically get about 2 hours to yourself before you have to do it all again. And somehow those 2 hours disappear scrolling on your phone while sitting there shattered. Also nobody warns you that adults spend half their life saying things like: “Right, better get going.” …then standing at the front door talking for another 40 minutes. What’s been your most “surely this can’t be it?” adult realisation lately?
