Best photos of the Su-57, J-20, J-35, Su-75, (and of course) the Qaher F313 that I could find.
Scoobler1992@reddit
The F-313 isn’t a real aircraft and are we sure that the SU-57 is actually fifth gen?
Ok-Employer9950@reddit
Yeah Su 57 is 5th gen man
Go_Loud762@reddit
I wonder how many westerners are employed at Chinese aircraft and defense manufacturers.
Sir_Baller@reddit
Not many. The Israelis helped with the original design, and they used espionage to refine some of its stealth capabilities, but the Chinese currently lead the world in radar, sensor, and drone tech and I don’t think they got there by hiring capitalists.
underthesp00n@reddit
lead the world in radar and sensor tech? Please do tell
Go_Loud762@reddit
That's my point. They got there by stealing western technology and improving it.
OriginalGoat1@reddit
Wasn’t there a famous American rocket designer called Werner von Braun ?
Chasseur_OFRT@reddit
Von Braun was more of a consultant than an actual developer.
ex0e@reddit
Wasn't there a famous Soviet rocket control designer named Helmut Gröttrup?
LiGuangMing1981@reddit
Gee, just like every other country in history, then (including the US).
abcpdo@reddit
…and?
ThatGenericName2@reddit
They absolutely got there by hiring capitalists.
China does a lot of espionage but the secret they, as well as the western world doesn’t want you to know is they literally also just hire people who worked for top US companies.
krazybanana@reddit
Capitalists? China’s economy is majorly capitalist
Worshipme988@reddit
More than three years ago. Lol
callsignsuper@reddit
Why is this sub so racist?
avrosky@reddit
genuinely a shithole. aviation really brings out the most jingoistic, warmongering rhetoric
CardinalOfNYC@reddit
propaganda
Kardinal@reddit
I'm fine with pretty pictures of cool looking aircraft from other countries. Including nations I'm not a fan of.
But I think that last one on the end doesn't actually qualify as an aircraft. Much less a fifth gen.
Ficsit-Incorporated@reddit
The second to last doesn’t qualify as a real aircraft either.
Haldron-44@reddit
It may not qualify as real, but I think the X-32 (and before the hate and down votes hit, I know this isn't an X-32) just looked cooler. Pretty Edit: coming from a big fan of how the Corsair looked. Basing my opinion on literally nothing else but the rule of cool of a nose scoop. Yes I'm weird.
Ficsit-Incorporated@reddit
Oh the aesthetics aren’t what I object to, though a chin intake isn’t to my personal tastes. I object to the SU-75 being characterized as anything other than vaporware, because that’s what it is and that’s what I expect it will remain.
Haldron-44@reddit
More than likely. We saddly may be heading for a vaporware race 😐
Boeing777-3ER@reddit
I love the Corsair
rekt97531@reddit
It's a real project and will come out sooner or later. it's real.
CyberSoldat21@reddit
It doesn’t and it’s not until it flies in my opinion. Same applies to whatever the fuck Iran did there
747WakeTurbulance@reddit
There is no proof Russia has ever made a single stealth fighter. They are laughing stock when they show up at air shows.
Immediate-Spite-5905@reddit
i mean, the aircraft at airshows isn't a laughingstock, that thing can pull off some crazy maneuvers... problem is that none of those save it from having a giant rcs
rekt97531@reddit
none of us know what the rcs is and stop pretending you do.
plus there are so much more to consider when evaluating a planes over all stealth. its different from multiple angles for one. its probably at least stealthy from the front, which is the direction other fighters will face.
pilostt@reddit
OK Russian Bot.. Bee Bop
Immediate-Spite-5905@reddit
official Sukhoi figured place it at 1 m2 and the Russians always overreport
rekt97531@reddit
that shit was a PUBLIC patent for the prototype. do you seriously think their gonna put that in a PUBLIC patent?
These exaggerated figures are probably pulled from sources unaffiliated with the actual government or manufacturer.
Immediate-Spite-5905@reddit
yes.
rekt97531@reddit
well they didn't lol
yakult_on_tiddy@reddit
Public patent for a prototype mockup. Actual power incidence analysis places is significantly lower than 1 m^2.
Gunsensual@reddit
I was just thinking, is that a Su57? That's a respectable 4.5th gen fighter. Russia says it's a 5th gen- Russia says a lot of things.
rekt97531@reddit
well the us also say alot of things. does that say something about what they say about the f 35? No you say? then it applies to russia as well
it IS 5th gen whether you like it or not. there is so much evidence for it, and the idea that the russians can't make one when they have a century of soviet aerospace knowledge to build off should disprove that
revcor@reddit
They’ve already taken over r/warplane porn and turned it into a Russia/China circle jerk with ass quality photos, and when the mods enforce any rule they gaslight the mods whining about this has “always been their only place to discuss airplanes.”
The people who post shit like this are trash who will devour a subreddit and make it unrecognizable if not dealt with
Fabulous-Suspect-72@reddit
Neither do the first 4
BigJellyfish1906@reddit
The Su-57 is not 5th gen. And literally only 30 of them exist after 6 years of "service."
2Crest@reddit
Holy shit the Chinese copied the SHIT put do the F-35
MightySquirrel28@reddit
The only Eastern jets that could be considered 5th gen are Chinese.
Su57 with RCS of a football field is as much 5th gen as is f18.
And I'm not even gonna start about the plywood mockup su75 lol. That thing exist only in the wild dreams of Russians
Tsundare_Mai@reddit
Anyone with even basic aerodynamics knowledge would not even compare the f18 rcs to su57’s rcs. Just look at them.. how can u even think both have the same rcs
2Crest@reddit
Good thing RCS depends on aerodynamics /s
GravyPainter@reddit
China definitely had insiders on the f-35 team
Chasseur_OFRT@reddit
Even the retractable ladder hatch is identical to the F-35, it's kind of funny.
OriginalGoat1@reddit
European (including Russian) Carrier aircraft have included built-in boarding ladders since the Cold War. The practical implications of operating from a crowded flight deck affect the Chinese Navy the same as they bite other Navies. Form follows function.
HuntKey2603@reddit
mate, sure. but fucking identical?
constantpisspig@reddit
It's weird that dolphins and fish both have fins
Chasseur_OFRT@reddit
What a nonsensical train of thought...
We aren't criticizing the fact it has a ladder, merely pointing out the obvious fact the ladder is identical to the F-35 to it's minute details lol
Chasseur_OFRT@reddit
Like, even the pattern in the hatch is identical, an "x" shaped bump I believe, literally identical.
totensiesich@reddit
Former F-35 Instructor Pilot was indicted for giving Chinese pilots lessons.
danmojo82@reddit
Stuff like this is where we should be charging people with treason and executing them quickly if convicted.
Jemsy1@reddit
Could say that about most of their advanced technology. At least they’re doing a lot more innovating these days.
CanISeeYourVagina@reddit
Have to. They ran out of stuff to steal
LiGuangMing1981@reddit
It has some similarities to the F35, but a LOT of differences too. You might as well say Airbus had insiders on the 787 team.
Just_Another_Scott@reddit
Cirporate espionage is a billion dollar industry.
fufa_fafu@reddit
So? Going by that idiotic comment since Airbus and Boeing looks similar Airbus must have copied everything.
EasyAsAyeBeeSea@reddit
Which is the biggest reminder of why chemtrails are idiotic. Of course spies were able to infiltrate the f35 program, it was 10,000 people, impossible to prevent leaks.
But chemtrails, which would require thousands of design engineers and 10s to 100s of thousands of people to be aware of, and not one of them has linked anything?
Kerbal_Guardsman@reddit
Im genuinely surprised the chemtrail people dont have whole websites to track the USAF and contractor tanker fleets. If there are aircraft which could be used or refitted for the sole purpose of dumping liquid solution payload, those would be it. Not clouds from airliner engines that always get the videos lol.
a_scientific_force@reddit
They just use ADS-B Exchange.
Imperium_Dragon@reddit
Chemtrail people think the government is both competent enough that no leaks happen in an industry employing hundreds of thousands to millions of people and also incompetent enough that random people can “deduce” that chemtrails are poisonous.
CreepySquirrel6@reddit
Isn’t there a massive story about whole story about how the whole/ major parts of the program was compromised? Or was that not true?
ImmediateSeat6447@reddit
The amount of jingoism, hypocrisy and cope in this comment section is ridiculous.
RecordEnvironmental4@reddit
Called the sukhoi’s 5th gen’s is an insult to the Chinese
new-to-reddit-20@reddit
What else can we do to insult the Chinese? /S
Jk… don’t ruin my future social score please.
_PROBABLY_CORRECT@reddit
Imagine if China used our reddit karma as social score
Davecave94@reddit
looks like that wont work out for you buddy
_PROBABLY_CORRECT@reddit
Gotta love the reddit hive mind for a joke
midatlantik@reddit
I know you're joshin around, but the social score thing is actually a myth that's been debunked as anti China propaganda. The social credit score was created specifically to prevent large Chinese companies from circumventing health and safety rules. It started around the time the baby formula scandal happened. China doesn't actually have a social credit score.
buck70@reddit
"5th gen". If you say so.
lotecsi@reddit
Cry more
Nylkyl@reddit
Chinese have actuall 5-th gen fighters russians are trying and failing to have anything approaching actuall stealth and Iranians are just larping.
markstar99@reddit
Bro thinks he's part of the team 😭
MaxPowerOverdrive99@reddit
I was gonna make a snide Temu remark, but apparently I’m way too late. 🧐
Sevastous-of-Caria@reddit
Tfw when basic ai prompts humble redditors
Thechlebek@reddit
Including the Su-57 was bold, but the Su-75 femboy is too far man 😭
PsychologicalGlass47@reddit
What about it "was bold" or "too far"?
Thechlebek@reddit
I require the femboy to at least fly
Fit_Definition1583@reddit
Fucking copycats
Late-Scarcity-6916@reddit (OP)
Why so mad? The su-57, su-75, and f313 aren't copycats.
After-Cake9055@reddit
What about the Concorde? The Soviets built the Tu-144 with stolen Concorde design documents.
PsychologicalGlass47@reddit
The Concorde isn't a 5th generation fighter aircraft, nor is the Tu-144.
SpreadEmu127332@reddit
Yeah that’s why one of them doesn’t exist and the other one hasn’t seen combat even though Russia is in an active conflict.
TLCM-4412@reddit
How can those canopy frames help with its stealth characteristics? Obviously, that’s gonna return radar immensely.
PsychologicalGlass47@reddit
Lol, nope
T-Rex_MD@reddit
The last one is not real, ask Is-rael.
Swimming-Region6958@reddit
Looks like Temu copies of American planes
HappyGnumff@reddit
10x a day post. Are these bots?
Important-Spring3977@reddit
Propaganda dispensers, bots, useful idiots. Take your pick, or try all three!
The "F313" at the end literally had me inhale some tea.
Immediate-Spite-5905@reddit
The last one is like RC scale and launches off a carrier that no longer exists
SkylineGTRR34Freak@reddit
While they did make RC scale ones, the F-313 originally was a "full size (lol)" mock up for a manned jet
Mountain_Sandwich_45@reddit
All with the radar signature of a school bus..
braveyetti117@reddit
The east sounds so exotic
thatswhatsheheld@reddit
Omg fuck off

Katana_DV20@reddit
Just look at how rugged the SU57 landing gear is. You could land it on a sandbar, have a BBQ and then fly away.
J-35 is such a great design. So clean the airframe.
J-20 looks terrifying.
Except for the last one all these designs look badass.
allahakbau@reddit
j35 looks far better than f35.
Still-Union-2528@reddit
Username checks out
Arsene_Yuka_1980@reddit
What about the TF-Kaan and the KF-21?
Chasseur_OFRT@reddit
They are like the J-20, they are more like a 4,5 gen with stealthy features than actual 5th gen.
SSobarzo@reddit
But can they fly under GPS jamming?
RaiJolt2@reddit
Why does it have a dumpy?
Authority_Sama@reddit
"F-35? Is that you?"
"Yes, let me into your airspace. Don't you recognize me, F-22?"
Skinwalker plane
the_tza@reddit
It’s not the plane, it’s the pilot.
s0ul_invictus@reddit
*4th
sourcefourmini@reddit
All you need to do is skim the Jet Fighter Generations wiki page to learn how silly it is to quibble over the exact meaning of a nebulous-at-best marketing term.
Late-Scarcity-6916@reddit (OP)
The J-35 is 100% 5th gen... Idk about the others but they all would be at least 4.5 gen (not including the f313)
precision_cumshot@reddit
bro the F313 isn’t even a real jet
Late-Scarcity-6916@reddit (OP)
That's why I excluded it
Teddy_Pocketwatch@reddit
Ended with two very fake jets that I wish were real
swaggedoutcoon@reddit
2 looks like a plane with a bbl lol
tomcat91709@reddit
Don't they mean 5th Generation targets?
wspOnca@reddit
What the hell is that, and that, and that one too Mav?!?
Mao_Kwikowski@reddit
Fox 2!
ex0e@reddit
5 of these photos are irrelevant. The 57 and 75 are far more west than east.
TheManWhoClicks@reddit
5th in “”
cryptolyme@reddit
I heard Danger Zone playing in my head while looking at these pics
Raid-Z3r0@reddit
Pretty pictures... no combat activity.
fourunderthebridge@reddit
I mean...
The SU-57 is used in Ukraine in a limited capacity
And none of us wants to see China actually use the J-20 and J-35 outside of exercises.
Kardinal@reddit
Indeed. And I'd rather not see the Felon used either. Not because I believe it's a game changer but just because I would rather Russia gave up that war.
Hell, I'd rather none of these saw combat really. That's the hope of every soldier.
scooby_Jones69@reddit
10/10 would shoot down
AwayTemporary5481@reddit
This guy looks kinda cute
NeedleGunMonkey@reddit
None of the images are yours. The kind of clout posting that’s supposed to be deleted by the mods.
fvpv@reddit
Do you expect him to task all these Chinese fighter photos himself?
RichardThund3r@reddit
Regardless of the country of origin it would still be fun to fly in one.
