Just to provide 100% context, and I already know what you’ll say-I’m the scorned BM. Bear with me. I’m not.

I took the high road, raised my daughter with dignity, and even encouraged a relationship with her dad. Knowing they spoke bad about me, I refused to let my daughter be disrespectful when speaking about them or any other adult associated with them.

What did BD and his new chick do? Befriended an old close friend of mine to try and paint me to the courts as a druggie and alcoholic (I’ve never done drugs or been drunk). Tried to call the cops that I kidnapped my kid when THEY took him out of state without my knowledge. Tried to get me arrested at my house because…I’m not sure, but I was there spending time with my kid?? Tried to say I abused my child. Tried to say I ran them over (I told the investigator if I tried to, I wouldn’t have missed. They laughed. Case closed).

3 years ago, custody and visitation was split 50/50 after my kid’s entire childhood was majority with me, because BD couldn’t be a parent. I made a lot more, and even as a single parent with 1 income, AND 50/50, the courts made ME, mom, pay child support (the idea is what they have at one house, they should have at the other. My thought is that I didn’t make significantly much more, but OHkay). Last year, when my kid was 17, they tried to take me to court for full custody and more child support. Said I abused my kid, didn’t feed her, didn’t provide for her, and whatever else absurd claims. No one believed them and custody remained 50/50 AND THE CHILD SUPPORT CUT IN HALF (LOL - go ahead, I did, visibly and audibly in court).

Well. She’s now 18. (If you still think I’m the bad parent, she chose to live with me full time and basically severed all contact with them). Still do? I’ll take it. Can you send me some ideas?

Now to the point. This bitch owes me THOUSANDS of dollars (as a reimbursement so can’t be added to child support) and when I have reminded him, was met with stupidity and …more stupidity.

3 months ago, I gave him that much time to pay me back since well, our child is no longer a minor, to no avail.

Besides filing a small claims case, which I’ll do this week, what can I do to be petty?
