I just came across this on Youtube. I honestly have no recollection of this episode and I watched them all back in the day. Maybe it was for the better since this is the dumbest premise for a Dukes episode although preteen me might have felt differently then but probably not.

Too bad, the narrator talked the whole way through the whole thing

They go search rural Georgia for the best specimens of humanity. Got it.
I don't remember that episode. But anything goes, I guess.

I don’t remember actually watching the episode but I remember as a kid seeing a commercial for it earlier in the week and was really excites that the Dukes might have aliens.

Wow, no idea about this. It seems like it would have been easier to just have the General Lee jump some sharks.
BrittaUnfiltered67@reddit
That was the best one.

There was an entire alien visitor storyline on General Hospital back in the 90s.

Felix Silla delivers a great performance as "little Cousin". This episode was directed by Boss Hogg, IIRC

This is glitch-in-the-matrix shit; I somehow never saw this, and never saw any promotions for the episode at the time, or I saw it and successfully deleted it from memory in totality.
To be fair, it looks like something I would have very much wanted to delete from memory.

Me too!!! age 7 I was painfully in love with John Schneider.... although I don't remember the ending of the series, so I guess I dropped out at some point. This definitely had to come late in the game/shark jumper

Omg, the video is horrifically narrated, couldn’t watch

Wait, there are levels of dumbness to the Dukes of Hazard.
originalchaosinabox@reddit
It ran the spectrum from "fun dumb" to "just plain dumb."

I’ve no memory of this episode, but in the AI generated intro and cast credits, they used Hobo font, meaning a typeface called Hobo, for the cast credits on screen.
As someone with a graphic design background, this was one of the funniest parts about it.
The Hobo typeface was used a lot for coffee shops in the 1990s-early 2000s. It actually seems to work pretty good in this context.

Episodes 1-147 were the dumbest episodes.

I remember seeing a preview for this show but it either got taken off locally or I couldn't watch Dukes for some other reason.

I’ve been to Hazard County Kentucky, only if the alien looses a bet.
Renax127@reddit
Dukes of hazard was set in Georgia, at least it sure seemed like it. They kept talking about Atlanta
AardvarkAapocolypse@reddit
It was weird how much rural Georgia looked like southern California.
_Brandobaris_@reddit
Hazard County GA was where it was set. It doesn’t exist, just the one hazard co is, um, not sure the right words. lol.
Renax127@reddit
Yeah i e been the the Kentucky one quite a bit, when I was a kid my great grandpa had a farm there, it's a special place

I don't remember that episode either and there's no way I'd forget it if I did. It looks outrageously awful, wow.
IndyColtsFan2020@reddit
I saw someone on Reddit mention it a couple of weeks ago so I tried to watch it. It’s probably even worse than you can imagine.

I was an avid watcher and don't remember this , it was probably when the E.T. craze was a thing.

I am wtf here, as I too have absolutely no recollection, and I too thought I had seen them all
