Is Upgrading from 16GB to 32GB RAM Worth It for My Setup? (i5-12600KF / RX 6800 XT)

Hey everyone,
I'm currently considering upgrading my gaming PC from 16 GB to 32 GB of DDR4 RAM. I mainly play open world games like witcher 3, cyberpunk 2077 etc. I would like to keep my pc until 2030+ so it can run gta6 and all upcoming games smoothly.
Before I spend any money, I wanted to get your perspective, is a pure capacity upgrade noticeably worthwhile with my specs, or is 16 GB actually still plenty for my needs?
My Setup:
CPU: Intel Core i5-12600KF
GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6800 XT (16GB VRAM)
Motherboard: Gigabyte B660 Gaming X DDR4
Current RAM: 16GB (2x8GB) G.Skill RipJaws V DDR4-3600
Since my graphics card already packs a solid 16 GB of VRAM, I'm wondering if the standard system RAM even fills up that quickly. Is the difference compared to 32 GB noticeable in day-to-day gaming or is it just a waste of money for my system?
Thanks for your help and insights!

2030? Definitely upgrade earlier ... Hope your motherboard survives so till then ...

Download MSI afterburner with Rivetuner and setup the onscreen display. Watch a YouTube video for the best layout. Then while gaming you can easily toggle on to see usage and other critical information.

Idk what games you play today or at what resolution but I can nearly promise you that GTA6 will need 32 so you might as well

It’s only a difference if you run out of ram. But you can keep an eye on usage. So you can see if you actually do run out.

Check your RAM utilization while gaming. If it's maxing out, add more. If not, there is no point in having more RAM. 16GB is still generally okay if you don't have a lot of stuff running in the background.
Your GPU's amount of VRAM has no relation to system RAM usage anyways.

are you running out of ram? just take a look at your usage. If you ever get to 80% upgrade.
