I still find the current M3 hideous though
RodRAEG@reddit
Same. Almost seems fitting to give it a pig nose with the weight this generation gained, also.
ShadyDrunks@reddit
Okay
HubbaMaBubba@reddit
Genuinely a better design lol
TrashOfOil@reddit
Ehhh idk about that
VitoXzX@reddit
Just impossible to get used to
peetak@reddit
It started growing on me after I started getting into GT3 racing
oOoWTFMATE@reddit
Agreed. It’s a beast of a car and still has no real competition.
RIP_Soulja_Slim@reddit
It is really quite fascinating that you had the BMW, Audi, Mercedes rivalry in this segment and Mercedes decided to just commit suicide with the four banger then Audi looked at the field and said "well we're just not going to do anything for a few years"
pokerawz@reddit
I like how it looks, long as the front plate isn’t visible.

It's a great car, and it's gonna get even better once the VTG update lands this summer/fall, but the front view? Yeah... I still can't make myself like it, and I've tried real hard, trust me!

Okay

Thank you for your valued contribution

This car exists to be fast, so fast that you'll forget everything else.
nujabes02@reddit
So 100,000?
humdizzle@reddit
expensive, but they hold value better than alot of other cars. 2024 on bringatrailer with 15k miles sold for 10k off sticker. A 2026 model with 4k miles sold for its sticker price. the car really doesn't have any competition from merc or audi either.
Tearpusher@reddit
Still has that stupid-assed pig nose for the Chinese market.
Not like I was in danger of buying it, but I'd look elsewhere if for no other reason than that.
humdizzle@reddit
it is a great car to drive and they are retaining value super well. i've had 4 previous M3s and an M2. But these new ones are just so ugly i can't get past it.

You know, with current BMWs (and I drive one!), I think the old criticisms we gave to higher trim Corvettes apply here - The interior sucks for the price we're paying.
The "lower end" interior you get on the 2, 3, 4, and arguably 5 series (to differentiate from the higher end BMW interior on the 7 and 8), is below par.
That piano black capacitive touch under the center screen sometimes creeks in the hot or cold, the center iDrive controller with the media/home/map also creeks and is annoying to press, occasionally getting really hot if your sunroof is open on a hot day, etc, etc.
Hell, I'm annoyed that the windowsill doesn't have a nice leather pad for when I want to open the window and stick my arm out of it. My old Camaro, with a windowsill too high for you to comfortably stick your arm out of it, had one: Imgur: The magic of the Internet

The BMW interiors across the board are just worse now than they were 5 years ago. You can see it in all their new or LCI products. It's just a lot of little things but they add up. Removing features, reducing leather, adding more hard plastics, etc.
I guess the flip side is most other brands are also getting worse.
Oh, and I can report that the vented seats suck so you're not missing anything at all. The only way you can tell that they are on is because of how loud the fans on, but you feel virtually nothing. Every Chevy I owned with vented seats felt significantly better.

I’ve found my cars with ventilated seats generally all suck. If you actually sit in the seat as intended it blocks airflow and the seat doesn’t cool.
tnolan182@reddit
You think bmw interior is shit, you should check out audi.
ManufacturerBest2758@reddit
And Mercedes
Mnm0602@reddit
Can I interest you in a billboard screen interior?
bubzki2@reddit
…except looks. You know the most important part of a vehicle purchase.
Blackbeard567@reddit
M3 has been a bestseller for BMW, they know what we dont
ManufacturerBest2758@reddit
Do you spend more time looking at the car, or driving it?
Geigerbuzz@reddit
Other than the styling
austic@reddit
I do love that green, must resist ordering another one.
