Mobile roles?

Not seeing many mobile roles anymore. Especially ones that require some experience developing robust end to end systems.
Most roles I see are react, slim product layers above LLM.
I guess that’s the flavour of the season?
This is in USA (Bay Area)

As a related note, any strategies to move to a different stack? Given my decade+ experience working in this stack, not many hiring managers take a chance with me in other stacks.

Android , 80% java 20% kotlin. Few bits of compose for new product surface. Given my level I mostly end up working on the core platform parts.

Unfortunately I’ve definitely noticed there’s no longer a strong mentality of giving a chance / seeing potential nowadays. It suxks.
I’ve seen mobile roles listed at different levels, which sites are you looking at? Have you tried Welcome to the Jungle, Foorilla, or even Google searches directly targeting boards.greenhouse.io or jobs.Ashby?

Was mostly sticking to LinkedIn for now. Just started looking at Google job search. Looking at staff+. There is definitely more to be had at lower levels.
Will try welcome, foorila and greenhouse next.

You can also do LinkedIn searches for posts with keywords like “mobile engineer” AND “we’re hiring” or join my team.
There’s also hiring cafe, it’s newer but really helpful and they’re always crowdsourcing ideas on their subreddit.
Good luck! I’m also on the job hunt so can relate to the difficulties of finding well-fitting roles or even getting past the application stage
