Can I use a split power chord here?

Hello! As the title says I am upgrading to a 5070ti from a 2070 and I am short one PCIe cable to safety power the graphics card
The motherboard I have has 2 8pin CPU power spots. Can I use a daisy chain to power both slots with the same chord?
I am using an i9 Ultra something-something and I have a RM750x corsair PSU.
Tha ks!

You can but don't be surprised if it crashes under load.

A split "power chord" - that would just be playing two separate notes in succession and rather loudly!

The 8pin cpu (4+4) is a different pin-out than the 8pin (6+2) pcie power cable.

This. CPU/EPS and GPU/PCIe cables are not interchangeable. They might share the same connectors on the side of the PSU, but you shouldn't go forcing an EPS cable into your GPU.

The RM750 should have enough, but yeah, it should be fine running that gpu from a pig tail. I ran my 3090 from one, on the same PSU and never had a problem. The 5070ti has a slightly lower power cap, so I wouldn’t be too worried. Off you can find the other GPU power cables, I would still recommend running it with two.

most of the time you only need one cpu connector. im running a i7 4790 on one right now. more is for more stable power and overclocking

You only need 1 8pin for cpu.
