1994 chevy suburban needs extra fuel when starting?

I have a 1994 chevy suburban, that runs great once it started but in order to start it i have to give it a little gas when turning over and rev it up some. Once its running it does totally fine its just starting that needs help. I replaced the fuel pump and lines so im thinking maybe throttle body injectors next? Has anyone has a similar issue with and older chevy.

It’s the spider injection might as well convert to carburetor

Sounds like a stuck open purge valve. 94 should have TBI which means stepping on the pedal to start it actually adds more air not more fuel. A stuck open purge allows fuel vapor from the tank to build up in the intake and effectively "floods" the engine with fuel vapor. The extra air allows that mix to be burned. Is it worse after you fill the tank, or on a hot day?

Check purge valve. Your car is expecting some evaporated gas to enter through this, but not all of the evaporated gas in the tank. If your valve gets stuck open, it'll have too much fuel to start the engine. Pressing the throttle down lets some escape, while also increasing the air in the engine to get a better mixing ratio.
If this theory is correct, it will happen more on cold starts and immediately after fueling up as there will be more gas evaporating.

Does it start good every time once you hit the gas just right? If the answer is yes just drive it and don't worry. Work on your timing with the gas pedal, there's certainly a specific combination that will work
