If you can’t have a fence, what about a raised bed? Doesn’t have to be tall, 30cm would be more than enough as their car door would hit it, which would force them to park away from the raised bed and no stomping on it.
You could even try just adding plastic/bamboo/wooden edging around the beds first to see if that stops them, some edging is on pegs so you just hammer it straight into the ground around the beds. Add a gnome and a bird bath between beds if you have space.
After that if they continue then it isn't just ignorance but some sort of intentional behaviour so more drastic measures maybe required!
grow a pyrocantha hedge it's spiky grows fast but is easy to control has loads of flowers and berries because you're growing it for the wildlife right...
Don't plant blackthorn unless you really like blackthorn. It spreads via suckers and comes up everywhere. Hawthorn on the other hand can be got for as little as a pound per bare root plant and make a lovely hedge.
Dig a border so it's soil and keep it well watered so they'd get shoes and paws dirty. Put little signs asking not to step on it as seeds are planted. Put protective chicken wire or something else to protect plants as that isn't a fence. Marking a border often works, as does breaking a habit
They don’t stop pets though, because they are too small at ground level. We have some lovely roses (they grow beautifully in heavy clay) and our cats just curl up underneath to sleep in the shade. OP needs something more ‘hedge-like’ which grows down to ground level rather than having a two foot high gap at the bottom.
Big rocks (fancy statues?) up against the boundary. Pita for them to park alongside, open the door and walk around. (Though they might just walk further into your garden- so shrubs there? -alternate with the statues and there won't be much room to walk through, plus it will look pretty)
Longer term, a hedge. Short term, you can get temporary fences which are more like dividers and just use push-in rods to place, so they form an obvious barrier without being permanent. I use them to keep my dogs off the lawn and they look surprisingly smart if you get the better ones.
I tried the cheaper wire ones previously but imho they don't look as good and they're a bit more flimsy...but they might be all you need.
Something that's not too obtrusive is more of a casual barrier to stop animals from roaming on your lawn and gives your neighbour a clearer marking without it being a proper - and certainly not permanent - fence.
I was going to suggest a landmine, but they're illegal.
Motion activated sprinklers, spikey plants, a motion activated speaker system that shouts "oi". Or maybe a nice hedge, which isn't a fence but a natural barrier.

Some pebble-dashed concrete ones for extra measure
D0wnb0at@reddit
100% for usefulness. 0% for aesthetic. I hate pebble dash. My garage is pebbledash and I hate it with a passion.
TheSecretIsMarmite@reddit
It's horrible isn't it. It may cause the neighbour to recoil in horror of course which would also be mission accomplished

Just treat it with respect. It’s well known to pierce even reinforced gardening gloves and the spikes can go deep.

I’d say a mix of blackthorn, hawthorn, and damson trees, fruit for gin and jelly!

Or there's the option of digging a moat!

Get a new deed written from the council that includes fences. It is likely outdated to when it was just driveways.

Plants. Pots or beds depending on your setup.

Build a moat.

There are sprays and powders that keep dogs away. It's a bit of an investment but after a few days of sprinkling daily, the dog will lose interest

"Natural" compost may help here; something from the farmyard to help things grow.

Oh she threw a strop the day they arrived to build it. Lols.

Blackthorn bush.

Unless you’re on an actively-under-construction new build estate, just build the fence
It’s vanishingly rare for this kind of restriction to be enforced, worst case scenario you have to remove it

Planters with a trellis on the back aren't a fence.... Nor is a landmine. Take your pick
