Just a little exhaust repair after losing the tip
on the highway…
BoostInduced@reddit
How old are those tires?
hotrods1970@reddit
Jesus! Saw your comment and zoomed. OP is on borrowed time for sure.

The harder I look.....the worse it gets

These things are ready to blow at any speed.
And this guy is so concerned about his exhaust TIP that he is blow torching shit in his job parking lot?
Talk about ass backwards priorities.
HarvestTheLight@reddit (OP)
Older than me and I was born in the early 90s
MissouriMeow@reddit
Please tell me you're joking...
Forget whatever it is you're doing and get new tyres, dude. Those'll kill just yourself if everyone else is lucky otherwise they and you will take someone else out with you.
If you can't afford tyre's you can't afford to drive.
HarvestTheLight@reddit (OP)
They’re coming soon don’t worry.
AnalDestroyer69@reddit
Gemini and GPT are both indicating the title is likely the 25th week of '94. Could be '84 but I'm more confident with the '94. I would reckon you're actually older than the tires if you were born in the early '90s. Just throwing that out there.
HarvestTheLight@reddit (OP)
If it’s 94 then yes I’m older than them.

Is this a dense post that you’re soldering to your muffler?
Tacos_Polackos@reddit
Ahh memories. I replaced the shift cable on a manual fox body mustang on my back in a DHL warehouse parking lot with no jack/stands/ramps. Thank god ive got long arms.
SteaksauceB@reddit
You didn't, because they don't have shift cables. Clutch cable maybe?
Tacos_Polackos@reddit
Yeah, you're right. Clutch it was
niccoIndy@reddit
Are you soldering the exhaust? I am lost.
HarvestTheLight@reddit (OP)
Exhaust shop never inserted the tip far enough and then cranked the clamp down and dented the muffler outlet. Couldn’t get the tip in far enough. I heated it up and got it back into round with an expander. Inserted the tip but needed to turn it a bit more so here I am reheating the outlet. To give myself a little wiggle room.
Corrupt_Reverend@reddit
Yeah. I'm struggling to understand this post.
Lost an exhaust tip, but ran over the muffler. Then heated the tailpipe with a torch, for reasons?
LifeWithAdd@reddit
And why does the tip need to be fixed right now in the parking lot. Also the tip should go over the previous pipe not inside.
GeckoDeLimon@reddit
And not even a MAP torch.
niccoIndy@reddit
Right? If he is bending something... Good luck?
niccoIndy@reddit
We are on the same page.
whateverman33@reddit
Just the tip? C’mon
speedyhemi@reddit
I lost the while muffler, than proceeded to run over it 🫣
direcheetah4579@reddit
I hate it when you lose the tip
