What brands are the kids wearing these days?

What brands are the kids wearing these days? By kids I mean teens... I recently have come across the brand Denim Tears, I had never heard of it before. Fear of God Essentials and Represent are still popular. Obviously Nike and Adidas. And, White Fox for girls.

I'm a teenager and my favourites at the moment are supreme, palace and clints inc. To be fair I mainly just wear band or artist merch, few of my favourite bits are the Adidas oasis Collab jersey and the Fontaines DC Bohs football kit

I was like you as a teenager! I bought a Rick naska jacket with my first ever paycheck:))
Level_Rub718@reddit
So cool! Managed to get my hands on the rick doc martens last year, and recently got a pair of margiela tabis

ERD is grim unless you want to look like a edgelord
Level_Rub718@reddit
To be fair you're not wrong, some of their pieces are a bit garish for me. I like their simpler distressed tops and things like that though
aggravatedyeti@reddit
It’s more that the owner is a giga racist junkie POS
Level_Rub718@reddit
Didn't even know that to be fair, not done as much research into ERD yet as I have into other brands like Rick and stuff. Like you said, probably not the best idea to be wearing it then 👍

White Fox, which is awful quality.
Ed Harvey, which is medium quality.
Hoodrich which is for bellends.
Kids are stupid.

My little brother is 16 and he's into North Face, Nike and Berghaus, basically anything expensive that's sold by JD, but he's a bit of a chav.
terryjuicelawson@reddit
Funny really some of this stuff as I associate North Face or Berghaus with middle aged, sort of middle class wannabe hikers who actually only wear it on the school run. Will they be in Dry Robes next I wonder. It is all just whatever is pricy in sports shops, dictates it entirely.
KerryKinkajou@reddit
That's exactly how I see it! My family are very much the working-class, caravan-holiday-at-Butlins kind of people so it's just daft seeing him dressing the same as "Jonathan, 44, loves the Dales, Waitrose and Centre Parcs".
SterlingVoid@reddit
Tbf scallies/chavs have been wearing north face and Berghaus for decades, both were quite popular when I was in school in the 90's
KerryKinkajou@reddit
That's quite surprising, when I was a kid it was Kappa and Umbro mainly but it wasn't an affluent area so that might just be what I was seeing locally.
SterlingVoid@reddit
I'd say it's probably the area rather than the affluence, was big in Liverpool in the 90's
terryjuicelawson@reddit
It does thankfully seem to have dipped a little. Some are into their brands for sure but when I was a lad you had to have a "name" on everything. Coat, bag, school shoes, trainers, the lot. If you were seen wearing something basic from Primark you'd be mocked. Now all the big clothes shops make things that are fairly on trend and affordable and we are all the better for it.

My 12 yr old nephew and his mates are all kitted out in montirex and various garish trainers.
Current_Fly9337@reddit
Montirex and monterrain are big with my 13yr old son. Trainers are all nike even though he’s got wide feet and they don’t fit him well.
TSC-99@reddit
Mine’s grown out of all of these at 18. Now selling them all on Vinted.
connectfourvsrisk@reddit
Vinted is a lifesaver for growth spurts.
turbospeedweasel@reddit
All the kids around this way are wearing that gear, they look like middle aged hikers going for a walk around the lakes.
Ok-Specific2924@reddit
Have you just made all these names up?

My nephew is always wearing 'Jack and Jones' shirts. Not sure why, really. Are they supposed to be good?
DameKumquat@reddit
White Fox for sure. Bizarrely, Oliver Bonas for some items. H&M and Primark for basics, then order some cool T-shirt.
For boys, more shift to the band/game tops and whatever trousers their mum bought them.
OhhJukes@reddit
Mate most teen lads do not gravitate towards that?
