Hey guys, I wanna give you a little info on me. I am a over the road truck driver and I’m looking for an E bike whenever I’m on my 34 reset to go to restaurants to go to Walmart to maybe see the local sites is there any E bike y’all would recommend that is very portable and doesn’t take up a lot of space yet is decent for the road/off-road and reliable and not slow? The most important to me is the portability because I am in a semi truck and I don’t have a lot of space.

Folding ebike is the move for truck life. Look at the Urtopia Fold, carbon frame so it's only around 30 lbs, folds down small enough to stash in the cab. Throttle included so you're not working hard on your reset days. Does road and light gravel fine.

As a former truck driver myself, I would have to recommend the scooter option, especially considering where you would keep it while on the road. Even a folder would take up a heck of a lot of room in your cab, and challenging to get in and out unless you remove the passenger seat. Maybe you could secure it on the back of your tractor, but you would have to consider exposure to the elements and theft. Hoisting any e-bike on or off your trailer while not on a loading dock could be a challenge.

Check out the Urtopia Fold models. Lightweight and pretty compact when folded.

Trying to lug around a heavy folding bike up and down a rig (former driver here) is going to be a pain..
You can probably get away with hanging a lighter ebike by the bed but its still going to be 40-50 pounds getting it in and out.
Like the other have mentioned. Have you looked at scooters?

It’s hard to say without knowing what “very portable means to you”. I would give exact dimensions, whether the bike has to fold, weight limit, etc.

You're probably better off with an e-scooter, as they fold up quite a bit smaller than even the smallest folding bike.
