So how bad are your tan lines/sunburns so far?

I am heavily tattooed and despite liberal application of sun cream I still have bra strap tan lines.

I’m on immunosuppressants that make me incredibly sensitive to sunlight. I just have to look at the sun and I burn.
I spend most of my time indoors with the curtains closed or absolutely slathered in factor 50.
From only my drive to and from work my face is red and blotchy.

Not so bad…
GeggingIn@reddit
Ouch!!! Ooo, that looks so sore.
Time to get that after sun out.

I feel like a champion

i wear a t shirt year round so i'm in a perpetual state of farmer tan, i don't even lose it in the winter, i just get slightly browner in the summer
BatteryAt14percent@reddit
Non existent. I'm under investigation for lupus and the sun gives me migraines unless I wear factor 50. I am still milk bottle white.

I saw a meme today showing Neopolitan ice cream:
Arms - chocolate ice cream Face - strawberry ice cream Legs - vanilla ice cream
I feel personally attacked.

I’ve avoided the sun as much as possible. I’m so much less tolerant of the heat as I’ve gotten older.
TomatoMiserable3043@reddit
Non-existent. I've stayed indoors, in the car or in the shade. Baldness makes you wary of that evil thing in the sky.
ukslim@reddit
I've stayed indoors not because I fear burning, but because the heat is deeply unpleasant.
No tan/burn is just a pleasant side effect.
You could wear a hat, though...
Ninjataye@reddit
I walked to the shops and back earlier which is only several minutes and I was actually wet by the time I got back. No idea how people actively choose to spend hours out in it
ukslim@reddit
Yep. I hold myself to a daily half-hour walk, but I'm not doing today's until the sun's been set a while.
reader270@reddit
I’m not burnt! I’ve had to travel for work and I’ve been indoors most of the time, either in an air conditioned conference room or my air conditioned hotel room. I am dreading going home to the inferno.

I have none, SPF 50 sunscreen. Protect your skin. Skin cancer is very serious also burns. It can really damage you.

I apply suncream religiously and wear loose clothing, I am proud to say from being in the heat all day for the past 3 days I don't have a hint of sunburn or tan. I don't understand the desire for a tan with the risks of melanoma
Ill-Situation73@reddit
Unfortunately I work outside so have tan lines from watch and tshirt line on my arms. I also have a twat tan from my vest top whilst gardening on Sunday and just above knees from my shorts. I also covered myself in suncream and thankfully no sunburn.
NLFG@reddit
Non existent. I'm ginger. I have a referral for a possible melanoma on my leg and my dad died of skin cancer. I ain't fucking around with the sun.
Dangerous_Bed2566@reddit
I wear factor 50 all year round so none at all
_Cridders_@reddit
I doused myself in lotion yesterday but underestimated where my vest ended, so I've got a red stripe across my back, but the top of my back and neck is fine 😂
NoCold3997@reddit
30 degrees here today already well red nosed suntan cream so trying to limit my sun time today ☀️🤣🤣
dusted-pink@reddit
Non-existent. I had surgery on my hand on Saturday so completely bandaged up and can’t get it wet/sweaty so I’ve just avoided going outside. Luckily bought an air con unit about 5 years ago so that’s keeping me cool. I wish I was able to read my book in the garden and catch a bit of sun but never mind.
whitefire9999@reddit
None I’ve stayed in out of it as much as possible it isn’t British summer heat it’s a freak weather event that’s blasting mid 30s and super high uv in May I cba to deal with skin cancer in a few years….
datguysadz@reddit
I had a twat tan before yesterday anyway.
NoEnthusiasm2@reddit
Next to zero. Spent about 20 mins in the sun in total doing stuff. I find sunbathing boring.
