I'm Canadian (Toronto area), 23 year old man looking to buy my first car... Want something used, small, and generally reliable, budget is around $10k CAD (\~$7.3k USD) on the high end. I know next to nothing about cars.

I found a 2014 Honda Civic Sedan that looks good on the reports, no accidents, well maintained for $8k CAD from a dealership, but not certified.

Want act on it, but I figured I could ask smarter people first. Open to other suggestions as well. I'm currently driving my dad's 2016 civic, so something similar maybe? Thanks!
