Buyers remorse with PC upgrade. Did I waste my money?

I’ve been gaming for over a decade now and don’t upgrade often.
I built my current PC in 2022 with the following specs:
RX 6700 xt, Ryzen 5 5600x, and 32 gb DDR4-3600 RAM.
It still runs great for my main games (CS2, League) and productivity/development purposes. No major issue, but I did feel gated from playing larger games like Elden Ring or Cyberpunk (not sure if i’d even enjoy them though).
Anyways, I just ordered that Cyberpower prebuilt from r/buildapcsales yesterday (memorial day sale). Definitely an impulse buy, but I just graduated and figured this could be my gift to myself.
Spent $2k for these specs: Intel 270k Plus, RX 9070 XT, 64 GB DDR5-6000 RAM
Massive upgrade on paper, but I’m feeling major buyers remorse and it’s not even been 24 hours. In the past, I would only upgrade after weeks of researching and putting together a parts list and finding deals.
But now I just impulse bought a prebuilt and spent $2000 on parts I’m not even familiar with. Since when were intel processors competitive for gaming and is the 270k plus actually good? Will I even notice the RAM upgrade? Did I even save money with this sale compared to building something myself?
Not really sure why I’m writing a post. Guess I’m looking for validation or to see if anyone else has experienced something similar. Curious to hear everyone’s thoughts!

Honestly I'd just cancel the order, get a 1k new or used gpu and put the other 1k in my pocket. I'm also running a 5600x with 32gb ddr4. Got the 4070ti and I'm not even a little bit sorry that I got it. 5600x is still a very capable cpu especially at higher resolutions since the load is higher on the Gpu. You did mention competitive games tho so I can't say much about that since I don't play any. But yeah, just get a new gpu instead of the whole pc, you'll be fine, and you'll save a shitton of money

I would try to cancel it. You have a decent machine, and frankly it hardly needs upgrading. If anything I would spend $400 on the 5800x3D which is being reissued this summer, and a 9070xt.

Honestly 2k is pretty good price for this build but 64gb is overkill unless you do some production tasks.
