Results of My Vinyl Wrap Experiment

Few weeks ago I got it in my head that this bike would look great in white, which got me to scheming. I’m a sucker for ill -advised projects, so as soon as two other people told me it was a fool’s errand, I was locked in 😅
Got some Avery Dennison vinyl from a local decal and graphics business who sold me some off of a roll (absolute lads). Made the patterns myself using a mix of painstaking methods and then I just sent it
There are many crimes, but thankfully the majority were hidden well. No vinyl wasted or any extra pieces needed. Whole thing is glassed out. It’s honestly a miracle haha

I had this fear that a couple instant downvotes were gonna bury this in this community 😔 oh well, hopefully this will at least pop up in somebody’s google search one day if they’re looking up wrapping an ebike to show it’s doable haha 🤙

Thats not an ebike playa

Huh. Derailleur, pedals, two wheels, hub motor, handlebars. That’s an ebike brother.
I understand where people are coming from by making distinctions because they’re afraid they’ll be implicated with all the bad actors. Just a bummer that half the community of electric bike riders has become semantic, gatekeeping and fearful.
I assumed people would be able to appreciate the project, as it has nothing to do with the type of bike, but a mod that anyone here can do to their frame. Not the case 🤷♂️ let the hate flow through you fellas 🙄

It’d probably be a nice bike without the pedals honestly. I can’t whine trying to ride a dirtbike without pedals instead of proper pegs.
To be clear I think the wrap looks nice, I think the bike might be fun, but just commit and get the proper pegs. There’s no way you’re actually pedalling that anywhere.
