Where to get the motivation for further training?

I had been very fortunate in my 8 year aviation career to commercially fly helicopter, be heavily involved in running the business and now gifted a commercial fixed wing licence, to eventually instruct on both. I will be planning on taking over the business I have been working for since licensed.
Essentially I am getting to flight test prep for fixed wing now and need to get the written done. I feel tired, over drawn and unmotivated to sit and study, get the book work done and continue.
I’m unmotivated and don’t know how to get back to the studying and “school” mindset at 30 years old.
Any experience with trying to shift life again and go back to being a student?

This is REAL for most everyone that is an adult...welcome!
For me sometimes, I'm just comfortable and a bit disconnected from the real world. What I mean is that in all that we are blessed with, sometimes we need a new perspective.
I find that a short visit somewhere that has people that are less fortunate and don't have these amazing opportunities to better themselves. Just being disconnected from ME and trying to see the bigger picture does the trick. It's makes me remember to be humble, greatfulland appreciative of all we're given.
Find what is going to push you to appreciate the amazing opportunity you've been given to you and you WILL find that motivation to push on.
Learn it now, you' ll continue to need it more and more as you get older. :)
Best of luck and congratulations on the amazing path before you.

so easiest way is just to get it done, the written is a checkmark, just a step you have to do, the real test is the checkride / oral.
i prefer the weekend, ground and test classes presented by American flyers ex: Top Commercial Ground School | American Flyers
i'm sure they are available many places.
you can also do something like shepherd air, just get them over with, they really don't matter. by the time you get to your checkride, you know your stuff or you dont

Just get it done. You sound like you have a lot on your plate… and presumably you want to take over the business.
It’s a means to an end dude. It sucks for everyone but you have a light at the end of your tunnel

I didn't start flying until I was 33 and I'm an active CFI now. I didn't learn how to study for real until I started pursuing aviation. Just gotta get the materials together and start. Buy a Sporty's course. Watch some videos. Take some notes.

Ha. There's no way I'd be able to conjure up the energy to do PPL-CFI now.
You either want it or you don't. If you don't want it, then it's not a labor of love and it will just be toil. That does not lead to a quality output. It leads to the minimum viable product, if that.
