Toyota's ultra-luxury Century brand won't reach Australia anytime soon

“Toyota’s ultra-luxury Century brand remains under study for Australia, but Lexus says any local launch is likely years away.”

Whatever, buyers couldn’t buy Century immediately. Toyota would check out buyers background first before they sell the Century. If you want to become Century owner, you can’t be criminal guy or mafia. That’s their rule to sell Century, and it’s also a rule in Chinese market and no exception of course.
Anyway, it never mean many wealth buyers in OZ are criminals and mafias.

Criminals aren’t buying directly with their own credentials
Toyota got caught a decade ago selling an entire fleet of white Hilux’s to ISIS, let’s not act like they wouldn’t sell to Yakuza

Source? That sounded interesting and I tried looking into it but most of the stuff I saw it was a situation where they claimed abandoned equipment and vehicles.

Lots of Yakuza get driven in a Century...

LCT would make this dead on arrival

It's a two-door? I thought the Toyota century was mostly meant for driving Japanese politicians around.

In the US we are getting the Century SUV and Coupe but not the sedan

It's a very niche vehicle - seems to suit the local / JDM better.

Despite that, OZ is only country that can buy LBX Morizo RR.

They're pretty good, and sought after - by all accounts
