First old Firearm

Yesterday i bough an Lefaucheux Pinfire Shotgun (the owner said it was from 1851) but i am starting to have doubts if its actualy, an Lefaucheux, the Numbers on the firearms are conflicting as only the barrel show 6639 will the others part have 639 (either they got scratched away or either the barrel is from an other shotgun)
In overhaul its in good condition, with a few scratch's and dent's on the stock, i do not know if it could style fire and i will have to test that later on, but it may no longer be able as there are decoloration mark's on the barrel in some part's as if it was heated up.
For anyone wondering i bough it 100€ (the owner refused to reduce the price)
On the under barrel there a Name being : Ravel Dubessey.
So far its, all i can say about this firearm.

I mean it’s definitely a Lefaucheux action, whether it was made by Casimir Lefaucheux is another issue entirely - many different firms made guns using his parents.

100€ for a firearm is never a bad price, cool looking piece .
