anyone noticed that reddit MODs troll more than redditors?

Like... deleted posts galore, intolerant of any opinion that differ from their own, classing them as "trolls" just for having a different but genuine opinion. Yet considering how high reddit ranks in google, these people hold an unreasonable amount of power in public opinion & censorship. For example, I doubt this post will be permitted by mods either due to freedom of speech no longer being permitted - I will however keep posting to different subs until it is permitted entry into one. This will be my updated counter of the number of subs where the MODS censored or banned this specific post: (3)

Yep, much the same as the mods in this group.

Mods have always been power trippy since the beginning of BBS boards almost 40 years ago. The main difference is that intellectual discourse didn't trigger censorship back then like it does today.

These posts are getting deleted because they aren't related to the specific topic of the sub you're posting in. It's not "trolling".
ProbablyMHA@reddit
You're preaching to the choir on this sub.

"Not that your post has any merit," - the first rule of this sub is "civility: If something feels rude, it probably is rude. ". Does your comment sound polite? My point is it's possible to express an opinion without being rude, and this is something we need more of on reddit- it's almost like anything rude has been normalised on reddit. Would you speak that way to someone in person? Would you mind being spoken to the way you just responded to me? I think every opinion has merit & we would do well to be kinder.

I thought you were moaning about mods? Now you're trying to be one? Lmao.
ProbablyMHA@reddit
The rule is to be civil, not be a sycophant.

All digg had to do was use AI to enforce moderaters to apply the rules evenly. Instead we got some unfinished tool that didn't allow custom communities and was essentially a news feed. Now we get an AI news feed lol

"Not that your post has any merit," - ?
barrygateaux@reddit
There's nothing in your post about sites that are alternatives to Reddit. Your just blathering on about Reddit mods and 'freeze peach'.

Walking bag of contradictions here. Your post is literally about freedom of speech, but you want the rule of this sub to be enforced so that guy cant be rude to you. Incredible honestly

I took over a Tesla sub.
The entire sub was just people name calling, trolling and outrage. It has taken mass bannings and deletions to slowly make the sub be somewhere people actually interested in Tesla can feel comfortable posting.
Of course the people using slurs and disinformation say were the bad guys now.
All of social media has become an outrage addiction machine. A lot of complaints of censorship is just people outraged they can't be outraged in certain corners anymore.

One group in particular lost total control over the narrative and flipped out. It's the same thing with MSM and them hating fox news, that you need a subscription for. There's no right leaning free news station but they don't see to care about that issue
Manlor@reddit
I think you need to study the definition of trolling. Deleting a post thst break a sub's rules is not trolling.
Also, on a personal opinion, your post is not constructive, and isn't fostering discussion, so it's low effort. I'm not surprised you are not getting any success in here with your attitude.
If you try to be a more productive member of the Reddit community, I'm sure you will have much more interesting discussions.

posting a legitimate polite differing opinion to a mod is not the same as "Deleting a post that break a sub's rules"

Honestly think there should be better ways of reporting rogue mods. Deleting things ‘they’ disagree with is rampant.
VariationCalm1398@reddit (OP)
yup, and even saying they deleted it by labelling it as "trolling" or "Rage bait"... having rage due to a differing opinion does not mean it's "rage bait" - it means they can't tolerate opinions.
