It’s a good job weekly pay. It’s just waiting at docks doing nothing… it sucks. It’s not for me. I’m used to touch freight. Think Sysco/sygma/gordons/etc… ramp and handcart. I go home feeling like I accomplished something compared to going home feeling lazy here… I just put my two weeks notice in. This is weekly pay. It’s really not bad just NOT for me

I know I’m a jackass…. I’m a follower I guess. I’m going back to a company in Lancaster Pa. That used to work at , the company that initially gave me my CDL opportunity back in 2020. It’s hard work (touch freight) but I love it. So I’ll be doing that from now on going to north and South Carolina 2-3 a week overnights . It should be nice

Like they say"if you job your love you will never work." 😄 enjoy yourself and stay safe out there. And Protect your back

If you take Gross pay and subtract Deductions, you go negative and now owe you're employer more than $5000. Suck-ass job, if you ask me.

And no it IS decent job, my last check before this one they added a $750 safety bonus they do that once a month as long as you’re in 94+/100. I believe you don’t get it if you’re under 94. But I’ll say it again. There’s a job out there for everyone…. But sitting around like a lumpy potato doing nothing, is just NOT for me. I like driving and I like working towards some small type of goal. So my new job is going to be going to North AND South Carolina overnights (regional) one to two times a week. Driving down starting my unload until I run out of hours then 10 hour reset, wake up finish unloading the truck. Drive back to Pennsylvania. That’s more of my speed. And as we all get older, the chance for exercise and the desire to GET exercise wanes…. So if I’m FORCED to exercise via paycheck/job then I think that’s the best way to get it hahahaha .hope this made some sense I know you didn’t ask about this I’m just talking out loud kind of.

You must not have read my other comment, a lot of those deductions were from my previous employer, it used the same ADP app, so it still shows up. It’s taking those deductions cumulatively. I def have NOT paid 7k + in taxes lolol

...was being sarcastic. Even truckers are better than that at figurin' their numbers.

What company is it
howaboutclark@reddit (OP)
I feel more comfortable posting what the job is once I no longer work there. But I will say it’s one of the many big chicken companies.

The deductions here are weird bc I had a job using this exact app like a year ago. And it still includes my previously saved information

These should have hours included as well. I make way less than I used to. But sometimes I get 50 hours or less, as opposed to 60 or more.

The hours for this I believe were 64ish. If you click on view statements it should show your hours
