Robot Lawn Mower, do you have any recommendations?

I'm planning to buy a Robot Lawnmower and was curious if anyone had any recommendations?
It's for my front and back garden. Both areas of grass are fairly small and the front is a square patch and the back is a square patch too (not large amounts of grass but still a decent size). The grass is flat and not slanted.
I'm UK based and as the cutting areas aren't that large I thought around the £800 mark would be suffice to pay. I'm happy to pay any amount though and open to all suggestions.
Any advice on this is really appreciated :)

For your setup I’d look at Segway Navimow first if the lawn is small and flat. Just check front/back access width and whether the edges need manual trimming.

Go for a Husqvarna, it won't let you down. The features you need are weather timer, (let's the robot knock off early if it senses there isn't much cutting going on) and Frost Guard, (stops it wandering off onto a frosty lawn) There are other features but those two are worth having. The installers now have a piece of kit that makes laying the guard wires in a fast easy job, so on my 600sqm patch and 50sqm side, it was just over £100 for installation four years ago. The side area is a second area for the BOT, so yes I lift it over there a couple of times a week in high growth times, but it weighs nothing, pick up, plonk down, tell it mow second area and set an alarm to remind you to go and lift it back when needed. It switches off and sits and waits for a lift home. I have four house robots, they are short lived and can be contrary, but the mower just gets on with things. You can service yourself at the end of the year, they give you all the information needed, but I drop mine off to the dealer for a steam bath and service in December. I would not be without it.

I bought a Cleva OcuMow a couple of years ago for £270.
It’s a “drop and mow” type so no charging dock, has a removable battery and external charger, no boundary wire required.
It just mows in a random pattern and doesn’t cut right up to the edges and is a bit slow but otherwise it does a great job.

Is there a clear solid path between the front and back (not gravel)? If not you will either need two mowers or will have to manually move it between the two which isn’t really the point of having a robot mower. Depending on model you may also need two base stations which would also add a lot of cost.
When done properly they are pretty much fit and forget, you set them up, put them on a schedule then occasionally check if the blades need changing. The idea is they go out regularly and only cut a a few mm of grass at a time so it can mulch back into lawn and help feed it. Lots of people get this part wrong.
For what it’s worth I’ve had a husqvarna Automower for 9 years now and would never go back.
It uses guide wires around the boundary. People freak out about these but honestly I’ve only had to repair the wire a couple of times the whole time I’ve had it and it was very easy to find the break. Wireless models with an RTK receiver have their own issues unless you have a very boring garden with absolutely nothing that can interfere with the signal.

When I looked into it, I concluded that £800 to £1k was just too much for me to justify spending on a robot mower for a lawn I could cut in 30 minutes.
I'd narrowed it down to the Segway Navimow but once I factored in the cost of a garage for the mower and getting a sparky in to put in an external plug and I'd still need to cut the edges up against the fences.
